Question . . .

Because of the rising cost of caring for my pets I have gone online to check prices for items I regularly purchase from my vet's office. I have always purchased the pet health products I need from the vet because I truly believe in supporting local merchants - but because of the rising costs (which I know are not the vet's fault) I'm starting to wonder if I should change my mind - not about medications - but about things that don't require a prescription, like Frontline and the lysine chews I purchase monthly for Birdie. I recently paid $32.45 for a package of chews at the vet's office and I can get the same product online for less than $15. It's always been important to me to cultivate the goodwill of my vet, would purchasing products online undermine that goodwill? Any thoughts?
