Since my last post I've spent $1,778.64 on the pets.  I paid:

$130 to the Mobile Groomer to bathe, blow dry and trim Shirley's nails and to also trim Amis's nails,

$302.90 to the locally owned pharmacy for refills of Apoquel and Carprofen for Shirley,

$224.77 to Chewy online for pee pads, Royal Canin dry dog food, 2 cases of Friskies wet cat food, packages of Flexadin, dehydrated chicken, turkey tendons and more . . .

$54.78 to the locally owned pet store for a 40# bag of cat litter, cat treats and a toy for Amis,

$170.96 to the vet's office for an exam and treatment for a skin lesion on Prickles, and

$895.23 to the local Emergency Vet Hospital for suspected medication overdose for Amis.

Total Yearly Expenses: $1,778.64.

Since my previous post I've spent $531.36 on the pets.  I spent:

$239.43 at Chewy online for a large bag of Royal Canin small dog kibble, 2 cases of Friskies indoor canned cat food, a large bag of Pure Bites dehydrated chicken, a large bag of Bones & Chews turkey tendons and other various treats, chews and supplements,

$115.43 at the locally owned pet store for a large carboard scratcher and 2 bags of treats for Prickles and a new toy (-40%) for Amis,

$163.52 at the local compounding pharmacy for a 6 month refill of fluoxetine for Shirley (postage included) and,

$12.98 at Lupine for a new collar for Amis.

Total  Pet Expenses for 2023: $15,635.99.

 Since my previous post I have spent $568.21 on the pets.  I spent:

$71.82 at the locally owned pharmacy for refills of carprofen and alprazolam for Shirley,

$180.77 online at Chewy for chews, food, supplements and treats for all 3 pets,

$158.38 at the vet's office for an emergency appt for an eye infection for Shirley,

$128.30 at Tasman online for 3 cartons of bison chews for Amis, and

$27.94 at the locally owned pet store for cat litter for Prickles and collagen chews for Amis.

Total yearly expenses: $15,104.63.

10/31/2023 - Boo!

Since my previous post I've spent $614.17 on the pets.  I spent:

$277.24 at the vet's office for Shirley's semi-annual senior wellness exam, an eye allergy consult for Amis and 6 doses of liquid gabapentin for Prickles,

$211.93 at Chewy online for 2 cases of Friskies Indoor wet cat food, a large bag of Royal Canin Small Adult dog food, plus cat treats and dog chews and treats,

$125 to the mobile groomer to bathe,  blow dry and trim Amis's nails and to trim Shirley's nails.

YTD Expenses: $14,536.42.

 

9/30/2023 - Hello Amis Jones

 Since my last post I have spent $1374.73 on the pets.  I spent:

$90.00 for the mobile groomer to bathe, blow dry and trim Shirley's nails,

$52.49 at the locally owned pharmacy for a 90 ct refill of carprofen for Shirley,

$326.85 at the local compounding pharmacy for 6 mo. refills of fluoxetine and gabapentin for Shirley,

$268.44 to the Babinski Foundation to adopt Amis Jones,

$172.10 at Chewy online for a large bag of Royal Canin Small Dog kibble, Disposable male dog wraps, a 24 ct case of cat food, Friskies Gravy for cats and Dehydrated Chicken treats for Amis,

$47.48 at Petco for male dog wraps and dehydrated chicken treats for Amis,

$25 53 at CVS for size 3 baby diapers and 3 rolls of packing tape for Amis,

$233.88 at the Vet's Office for eye exam, antibiotic eyedrops, trazadone and one week check-up for Amis, and

$61.23 at the locally owned pet store for cat litter and treats for Prickles and toys and chews for Amis, and,

$96.27 on Amazon for a Wisdom Panel Breed DNA test for Amis.

YTD Expenses: $13922.25.

9/1/2023 - Good-Bye Steve

 Since my previous post I've spent $1,586.38 on the pets.  I spent:

$122.14 at Chewy online for 2 cases of Friskies wet cat food for Prickles and cosequin and various treats for both dogs and cat,

$59.77 at the local pharmacy for refills of spironalactone, furosemide and amlodipine for Steve, 

$52.09  at the vet's office in early August for a blood pressure test for Steve, and                      

 $1.352.38 at the vet's office on August 16th for radiographs, blood tests, sonograms and, ultimately, euthanasia and cremation. 

YTD Pet Expenses:  $12,547.52.

 

7/31/2023

 

Since my last post, I've spent $1392.18 on the pets.  I spent:

$838.67 at the Vet's office for an office visit for Steve with radiographs of his heart, blood pressure measurement, blood and fecal tests, and two rounds of Proviable-Forte.

$148.77 at the local pharmacy for refills of furosemide, enalapril and pimobendan for Steve, 

$168.45 at Chewy online for 2 cases of wet food for Prickles and treats and pee pads for the dogs,

$125 to the mobile groomer for a bath and nail trim for Steve and a nail trim for Shirley,

$81 at Farmhounds online for treats and chews for the dogs, and 

$33.29  at the locally owned pet store for litter and treats for Prickles.

YTD Expenses: $10,961.14.
