2/20/2015

Since my last post I've spent a lot of money on the pets.  On 1/20 I spent $314 at the vet's office on an exam and radiographs of Walter's right hind leg.  He slipped on the ice at was limping pretty badly.  Rest was recommended.  On 2/6 I spent $361.78 at the vet's for Birdie's dental cleaning.  She had 2 teeth extracted and the cost included the 40% (for annual cleanings) discount.  Today I spent $296.01 at the vet's office to have Walter's limp re-checked.  He had an acupuncture treatment and we decided to start him on a series of Adequan injections.  Earlier this week I spent $90.92 online for a 3 month supply of Lysine chews for Birdie and a 3 month supply of Forti-Flora for Walter.  I hope Walter will be able to return to the dogpark when the weather warms up.  YTD Expenses:  $1743.80.

1/24/2015

Since my last post I've spent $378.51 on the pets. I spent $117.13 at the locally owned pet store for a 40# bag of litter for Birdie and 2 Smart Leashes and a bag of Zuke's Minis for the dogs.  I spent $42.38 online for a 20# bag of Flint River Ranch Senior Plus food for Mavis and I spent $219 at the vet's office for 2 cases of Feline SO for Birdie, a 4# bag of Feline TD dry for Birdie and a180ct bottle of Carprofen for Walter.  YTD Expenses:  $681.09.

1/10/2015 - A New Year

2015 started off with a $302.98 trip to the vet.  Cost included a senior wellness exam for Birdie with intestinal parasite screening, feline rabies booster and blood panel.  I also purchased a 16.8# bag of hypoallergenic dry food for Walter and city license tags for all 3 pets.  YTD Expenses:  $302.98.

12/19/2014

2014 ended with a $75 trip to the groomer for Walter and Mavis and a $60.84 online investment for a dozen of Walter's current favorite toy, the mini-zebra by Petstages.  Total pet expenses for 2014:  $8,428.76.

12/14/2014

Since my previous post I've spent $233.14 on the pets.  I spent $12.73 at Petco for a small squeaky toy and a ball for Walter.  I spent $21.48 at the locally owned pet store for a package of treats for both dogs and another squeaky ball for Walter.  I spent $81.27 at the Vet's office for 2 cases of Feline SO for Birdie and I spent $102.70 for a physical exam and urinalysis for Walter.  Lastly, I spent $14.95 at the local pharmacy on a prescription of gabapentin for Walter.  YTD Expenses:  $8292.92.

11/18/2014 - Goodbye Bandit

Yesterday I spent $161.11 on the pets.  I spent $145.00 at the Vet's office to have Bandit euthanized and cremated.  I also spent $16.11 at the locally owned pet store on treats for Walter and Mavis.  YTD Expenses:  $8059.79.

11/7/2014

Since my last post I've spent $700.68 on the pets.  On October 24th I spent $81.27 at the Vet's office for 2 cases of Feline SO for Birdie.  On the 31st I spent $145.31 at the Vet's Office for a 180 ct. bottle of Carprofen for Walter and and a bottle of Flurbiprofen plus a dose of Sentinel for Bandit.  Today I spent $46.70 at the compounding pharmacy for benazepril for Bandit and $427.40 at the Vet's office for Mavis to have a dental cleaning and tooth extraction.  YTD Expenses:  $7898.68.
