In the past two weeks I have spent $865.03 on the pets.  I spent $735.02 at the Vet's office -   Mavis had her senior wellness exam, leptospirosis booster, and 6-packs of Parastar and Sentinel.  Walter had a pre-anesthetic physical, complete blood panel, 6-packs of Parastar and Sentinel and a 180 ct. bottle of Carprofen, 25 mg caplets.  I also purchased a 6-pack of Sentinel and a bottle of Flurbiprofen for Bandit. I spent $45.07 at the compounding pharmacy on Benazepril for Bandit.   I spent $61.30 at the local pharmacy for 1 bottle of Timelol and 2 bottles of Latanoprost for Bandit and I spent $23.64 at the locally owned pet store for a 40# bag of cat litter for Birdie.  YTD Expenses:  $4117.37.




Have I mentioned that I'm angry at Blogger because of problems that have prohibited me from posting photos since the first of this year!

This week I spent $94.51 at the Vet's office on Birdie.  On Friday I purchased 2 cases of Feline SO and one dose of Revolution.  YTD Expenses:  $3252.34.

Today I spent $303.47 on the dogs.  I spent $105.75 at the Vet's office for progress consults for  Bandit and Walter and an IOP check for Bandit.  I spent $52.65 at Petco for a gallon of Nature's Miracle and a bag of dog biscuits.  I spent $45.07 at the compounding pharmacy for benazepril for Bandit and I paid the groomer $100 to bathe and blow dry all 3 dogs.  YTD Expenses: $3157.83.

Last week I spent $98.30 at the vet's office on Bandit.  Bandit had a progress consult and IOP checked.  He also got a prescription for metronidazole and two cans of Canine ID because of diarrhea.  YTD Expenses:  $2854.36.

In the last week I've spent $498.34 on the pets.  On March 4th I spent $475.64 at the vet on Walter.  He was lame on Monday, so on Tuesday I took him in for radiographs and he ended up having his senior wellness exam and vaccinations as well.  Walter was diagnosed with an inflamed biceps tendon and a minimum of 4 weeks rest was recommended.  Yesterday I spent $22.70 for a bottle of Flurbiprofen for Bandit.  YTD Expenses:  $2756.06.

The fun never ends around here.  Yesterday I spent $298.58 at the Vet ER on Mavis.  At noon I noticed she had a huge abscess between the middle toes of her left hind foot.  The cost included the exam, cytology (because she's had mast cell tumors), wound care, bandage, and prescriptions for Simplicef, Carprofen and Tramadol.  YTD Expenses:  $2257.72.

It's been 3 weeks since I posted but not since I spent $$ on the pets.  In the last 3 weeks I have spent $712.33 on the pets.  I spent $160.57 online for 3 months supply of lysine treats for Birdie, Forti-Flora for Walter, Lean Treats for Bandit and American made rawhide treats for Walter and Mavis.  I spent 74.80 at the local pharmacy for 2 bottles each of Timelol and Latanoprost for Bandit and $45.07 at the compounding pharmacy for benazepril for Bandit.  Also in that time I spent $432.19 at the vet's office.  That included 2 progress consults (in successive weeks) and IOP checks plus one bottle of Flurbiprofen for Bandit.  I also purchased 2 cases of Feline SO for Birdie and for Walter I purchased a 180 ct bottle of 25.mg caplets of Carprofen, an 18 lb bag of Canine HP and 3 2" rolls of Vetwrap.  YTD Expenses:  $1959.14.
