Today I spent $604.68 on the pets. I paid $12 for city license tags for Bandit, Birdie, Mavis and Walter. I paid $240.15 for 3 6-packs of Sentinel for Bandit, Mavis and Walter. I paid $332.41 for the examination and removal of a bump on Bandit's neck. Also included in that charge was the anesthetic block, sending the tissue out for histopathology, antibiotic drops and pain meds. I paid $20.12 in tax.

Today I spent $94.88 on the pets. I spent $13.90 at the locally owned pet supply store on cat litter and cat toys and I spent $80.98 at Petco for munchie bones, rawhide chips, a squeaky ball for Walter and a muscle shirt for Bandit. I did NOT need to purchase the shirt for Bandit but what fun is having a Chihuahua if you can't dress him up!

Today I spent $38.89 for benazepril for Bandit. I paid $31.02 last month. That's an increase of $7.87.

In January 2011 I spent $1,488.25 on the pets. I spent $62.78 on eye ointment and lysine chews for Birdie and $71.90 for her wellness exam and rabies vaccination. $85.40 for Walter's medication and $63.11 for both dog and cat food. Birdie gets EVO weight management formula and the dogs eat Flint River Ranch Senior Plus formula. I spent $84.63 at Petco for munchie bones, treats, rawhides and cat toys and $31.05 for Bandit's heart pressure medication from a specialty pharmacy. It cost $90 for the dogs to visit the groomer for baths. The balance of the expenses were for Bandit. He had a dental cleaning which included an ECG, pre-anesthetic blood tests, extractions, x-rays and post-operative medication.
