 Since my last post I've spent $841.99 on the pets.  I spent:

$379.08 on 5 orders from Chewy online.  Those orders included pee pads, dog food, , dehydrated chicken, turkey tendons, probiotics and assorted chews and treats for both the dogs and the cat,

$168.56 at the vet's Office for an exam for Penny when she was experiencing diarrhea but no vomiting,

$144.85 at the locally owned pet store for a new cat scratching tree, cat litter, a bag of dry food  and  other things I do not remember for Prickles, and

$150 to the mobile groomer for a bath and nail trim for Amis and a nail trim for Penny.  I included an extra tip for Christmas.

Total Expenses for 2025: $9473.74   (Average/mo = $789.48).

11/30/2025

 In November I spent $359.39 on the pets.  I spent:

$199.14 at Chewy online for 2 cases of Friskies wet cat food, 4 pkgs of Inova lickables for cats and Probiotics, treats and chews for the dogs,

$59.56  at Petco for toys for each pet and Vinnie (Amis's best friend), and chews for Amis,

$14.07 at the locally owned pet store for a small package of dehydrated chicken, and 

$86.62 at Vetsource online for a 3 month dose of Bravecto for cats.

YTD total - $8631.75  ($719.31 average / mo).

11/1/2025

 In October, I spent $1368.04 on the pets.  I spent:

$710.37 at the vet's office to have Amis and Prickles tested for ringworm and to puchase oral and topical medications for Amis and shampoo for Penny,

$175.95 at the locally owned pharmacy for a bottle of liquid medication for Amis,

$24.97, at the locally owned pet store for treats for all three pets,

$42.01 at Fleet Farm for another heated pet pad,

$11.00 at the local SmartWash to wash Amis's bed,

$403.95 for all 5 Chewy autoships which included dog food, treats and supplements, cat food and 2 sizes of pee pads.

YTD Total Expenses:  $8272.36   ($827.24 monthly average)

 In September, I spent $703.18 on the pets.  I spent:

$642.64 at the vet's office for Amis's yearly wellness exam.  The fees included analysis of blood, urine and feces, bordetella and lepto/Lyme vaccines and the new yearly shots for internal and external parasites, and

$60.54 at Vetsource online for a 6-month refill of Sentinel for Penny.

YTD Total:  $$6,904.32.  (monthly average  $$767.14)

In August I spent $1075.88 on the pets.  I spent:

$641.95 at the vet's office to have Amis treated for diarrhea and vomiting and for Penny's wellness exam,

$338.70 at Chewy online (every single autoship came due in August) for dog food, cat food, pee pads, a probiotic for Amis, a laundry additive from Nature's Miracle and various treats for all pets,

$86.62 to Vetsource online for Bravecto for Prickles and,

$8.61 to the locally owned pet store for a bag of treats for Vinnie (Amis's bestie).

YTD total expenses: $6201.14.  (monthly average - $775.14).

 In July 2025 I spent $431.82 on the pets.  I spent:

$25.84 at the locally owned pet store on No-Hide Chews for Amis,

$77.28 at Farmhounds online for treats for Amis, 

$55.05 at Chewy online for a case of large pee pads and a package of Cosequin for the dogs, and

$273..65 at the vet's office for a physical exam for Penny which included a Lyme/lepto vaccine, Bordatella vaccine and prescription for Bravecto for flea and tick prevention.

YTD Expenses:  $5125.26  (ave. $732.18 mo in 2025).

7/6/2025 - Hello, Penny!

 In June I spent $1143.60 on the pets.  I spent:

$321.75 at the Journey Home Animal Shelter to adopt Penny, a 4 year old, Chihuahua mix,

$65.68 at the locally owned pet store for a new harness for Penny and 2 packages of lickables for Prickles,  

$21.50 at DOGIDS online for a name tag for Penny,

$212.10 at Chewy online for a 14# bag of Royal Canin Small Dog dry food for the dogs, 48 cans of wet cat food for Prickles, and a 60 ct package of Flexadin Joint Support chewables for all 3 pets, and

$522.57 at the vet's office for a wellness exam (with sedation) and a 3-pack of Centragard for Prickles.

Total Yearly Expenses:  $4693.44.

5/31/2025 - Good Bye Shirley

 Since my last post I've spent $741.97 on the pets.  I spent:

$146.57 at Chewy Online for a bag of Purina Bright Eyes for Shirley,  a 48 can case of cat food for Prickles, and pee pads and fish oil for the dogs,

$71.90 at the local pharmacy for refills of Novox and alprazolam for Shirley,                                  

$19.36 at the locally owned pet shop for lickable treats for Prickles,

$50.45 at Petco for a bath and nail trim (plus tip) for Amis,

$77.96 at Vetsource online for a 3 month dose of Bravecto for Prickles, and

$375.73 at the vet's office for euthanasia and cremation for Shirley.

YTD Expenses: $3549.49. 

Flowers sent in memory of Shirley by the local compounding pharmacy.

$192.38 at Chewy online for 2 cases of cat food for Prickles, and 14# bag of dog food and Flexadin for the dogs,

$70.13 at VetSource online for a Seresto collar for Amis,  and

$16.15 at the local Petco for soft treats for Shirley.

YTD Expenses: $2807.87.

$347.32 at the local compounding pharmacy for refills of gabapentin and Fluoxetine for Shirley,

$75 to the mobile groomer for a bath and blow dry for Shirley,

$120.70 to Vetsource online for 6 month refills of Sentinel for Shirley and Amis,

$16.11 at Petco for a bag of treats for Shirley,

$38.48 at Marlene's Cat Store online for a scratching toy for the cat, and

$75 deposit for Shirley's wellness exam for tomorrow.

Total Expenses for the year so far:  $1804.05.

 In February I spent $528.35 on the pets.  I spent:

$269.95 at the locally owned pharmacy for a refill of Apoquel for Shirley,

$184.28 at Chewy online for 2 cases of cat food and treats for Prickles, and Pee Pads, Cosequin and Flexadin for Amis and Shirley, 

$74.12 at Petco for a grooming appt for Amis, a set of Paws booties for Amis and a large stuffed Lambchop (75% off) for Amis.  

YTD Total Expenses: $966.58.
