 Since my previous post I've spent $587.11 on the pets.  I spent:

$390.57 at the vet's office for addition radiographs, blood tests, and prescriptions for furosemide and sprironalactone for Steve,

$131.00 at Chewy online for Royal Canin Small Dog kibble and pee pads for both Steve and Shirley, 

$40.79 at Vetsource online for refills of enalapril for Steve and carprofen for Shirley,

$10.79 at CVS for a package of pee pads for Steve, and

$13.96 at the locally owned pet store for a small bag of Precious Cat litter.

Total Yearly Expenses ; $3000,90.
