Since my last post I've spent $410.68 on the pets.  I spent $153.48 at VetSource to refill Walter's prescriptions for gabapentin and carprofen.  I also spent $24.19 at the Vet's office to refill his presecription for Tramadol.  I took Birdie and Shirley in to the Vet's office for exams and rechecks today and spent $80.30 for a wellness exam and Antech Pre-Op screen with CBC for Birdie and spent $91.90 for a recheck and prescription for Apoquel for Shirley.  I just spent $58.04 at VetSource for a 30 day prescription for Galliprant for Walter to test to see if it works better for his arthritis pain than the carprofen.  YTD Expenses:  $3886.20.

Yesterday I spent $324.03 at the Vet ER on Shirley.  Unseen by us, she hurt her leg at home.  After an hour of not putting weight on the leg I took her to the Vet ER.  After the exam and radiographs, the vet determined that Shirley had no breaks or ligament damage so the leg was likely sprained or strained.  The cost included the exam fee, 2 radiographs and pain medication.  YTD Expenses: $3475.52.  (2 weeks rest will be a whole different cost).
